Company internships

Take the first step towards your professional future

Company internships let you apply the knowledge acquired during your studies in a real professional environment, gain experience, develop skills and abilities, and boost your employability.

They are a unique opportunity to complement your academic training, start building your career path, improve your CV and get into the job market.

The Career Services support you throughout the whole process: from initial guidance to formalising the agreement and monitoring the internship.

Don't miss this opportunity! Once you graduate you won't be able to do internships.

Types of internships: Curricular and extracurricular

Curricular internships

  • Undergraduate students must have 120 credits passed to do internships. Master's students do not do curricular internships.
  • Curricular internships are optional or compulsory credits within the degree's study plan. They are enrolled and the corresponding credits must be paid, a final report is submitted and they are assessed.
  • Part-time schedule (maximum 30 weekly hours) compatible with class timetables. Duration depends on the credits to recognise (6 credits – 150 h / 12 credits – 300 h / 18 credits – 450 h).
  • As a general rule they must be paid and contribute to Social Security.

Extracurricular internships

  • Undergraduate students must have 120 credits passed to do internships. Master's students must have 5 credits passed.
  • Extracurricular internships are not part of the study plan and therefore do not count towards credits.
  • Part-time schedule (maximum 30 weekly hours) compatible with class timetables. Maximum duration of 900 hours (between curricular and extracurricular) during the academic year for degrees, and 600 hours for master's.
  • As a general rule they must be paid and contribute to Social Security.

You'll be assigned a university tutor and a company tutor who will monitor the internship.

Process to request internships

1. Before you start

To be able to do your internship, you must:

  • Be enrolled in a bachelor's degree, double degree or master's degree at Euncet.
  • Have completed at least 120 credits of your degree or double degree, or 15 credits of your university master's degree.
  • Have had a guidance meeting with the Orientation team.

If you still haven't had the guidance meeting, you can request it here.

2. Finding your internship

Option 1. Through Talent myEuncet (link):

Once you meet the access requirements, you can:

  • Browse the available opportunities, which we update on a daily basis.
  • Apply for the opportunities that fit your profile.
  • Track your applications.

Option 2. Propose your own company.

Have you found a company on your own? If the company is duly constituted and offers you an internship that meets the established requirements, the Career Services team will help you formalise the agreement so you can start your internship.

3. Formalising the paperwork

What do you need to do to start the process?

  • Contact between company and university. To start the process, either you or the company should contact us (careers.services@euncet.com).
  • Update your details. Log in to the Talent myEuncet platform (link) with your credentials and review your details, and enter your social security number if you haven't done so before; if you don't have one, contact us.
  • Type of internship. Decide whether it will be curricular or extracurricular.

We will take care of processing the paperwork with the company, and once it has been formalised and validated by your university internship tutor, you will receive an email to sign the document (it is important that you review it beforehand).

4. Starting and monitoring your internship

What do you need to do to start the process?

  • The signed training project contains the conditions of your internship: start date, end date, schedule, remuneration, duties and the contact details of the assigned tutors, both at the company and at the university.
  • During the internship period, the two people who act as tutors will monitor your progress.
  • At the end of the period you will receive an email to evaluate the experience and, if it is curricular, you will need to attach the final report; your company tutor will also receive an email to assess your internship.

If you have any questions during your internship, you can contact your university internship tutor (indicated in your training project) or the Career Services team (careers.services@euncet.com).
