Co-founder of Storydata, a data journalism start-up in Barcelona, currently pre-incubated at Barcelona Activa. Worked for 21 years in the infographics department at ‘El Periódico de Catalunya’, where I coordinated the data journalism section. I am coordinating the Master’s Degree in Data Journalism and Fact checking at Blanquerna (Universitat Ramon Llull). I teach Infographics at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF). I lecture at the master’s degree in Information Design and Data Viewing at Elisava design school and have taught Data Journalism at the master’s degree in Data Science, as well as in that of Digital Communication at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC).

Degree in Journalism, UPF, and Applied Linguistics, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). I won the BBVA award - Civio Innovadata in 2013 of the Best Practices of Non-Sexist Communication by the Agència Catalana de Dones Periodistes for the data information treatment of the Covid19 pandemic. I cofounded Verificat, a Catalan fact-checking platform, and Hacks Hackers Barcelona chapter, an organisation seeking to revolutionise journalism through technology.
