The training, lasting 12 hours, will be held in person at the Barcelona Can Dragó Campus and via streaming.
6 HOURS PER WEEK
It is divided into 4 theoretical-practical sessions of 3 hours each, in the afternoons from 5.30 PM to 8.30 PM.
THEORETICAL-PRACTICAL TRAINING
The Power BI course focuses on using Microsoft Power BI to design and create interactive dashboards that facilitate decision-making in the business field.
CERTIFICATE OF PARTICIPATION
To obtain the certificate of participation in the training course, it is an essential requirement to have attended at least 75% of the scheduled sessions.
Power BI Course Modules
Module 1: Introduction to MS Power BI
- Introduction (Master-Class “Data that Speaks”). Data-Driven Organizations. Data, information, indicators, and knowledge. Dashboards and KPIs. Visual Management. Business Intelligence.
- MS Power BI: ETL architecture, user interface.
- EPQ and DESKTOP BI management. Creating the first report from a single data source.
Module 2: Creating a report with basic elements (line, bar, and pie charts).
Module 3: Creating a report with initial geographic elements (maps).
Module 4: Creation of an individual project
Technical requirements
To ensure proper course participation and completion of the practical exercises, the following technical requirements are necessary:
- Operating system: A computer with Windows 10 or later is required.
Devices running macOS (Apple) are not compatible with the desktop version of Power BI used during the training. - Required software: You will need to install Microsoft Power BI Desktop (free).
Before the course begins, instructions for its download and installation will be provided.
