Supply Chain Management and Logistics 4.0 Course
PREMIUM LINE EXECUTIVE COURSES
What will you learn about Supply Chain Management and Logistics 4.0?
The course combines theory and practice, offering learning that is applicable from day one. Each session includes real cases, examples of success and tools to understand how a digitalised supply chain is managed today.
Participants will learn how to:
FROM TRADITIONAL LOGISTICS TO LOGISTICS 4.0
Understand how supply chain management has evolved from its industrial beginnings to today, and what the fourth industrial revolution has meant. Based on macroeconomic data and the 2030 challenges, they will have a clear vision of where the sector is headed.
TECHNOLOGIES FOR A DIGITAL SUPPLY CHAIN
Discover, through successful cases and applications, how a digital supply chain is connected and controlled: IoT and blockchain applied to logistics, networks and communications, control towers, digital twins, cybersecurity and new intelligent means of transport.
DATA AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
Discover how data analysis and artificial intelligence applied to logistics make it possible to anticipate demand, optimize operations and support decision-making throughout the chain.
SIMULATION AND SERIOUS GAME
Put into practice what they have learned through a 3D simulator based on the MIT Beer Distribution Game. Participants will compete in groups to see how the decisions of each link affect the whole.
FAQS
Supply Chain Management and Logistics 4.0 Course
Supply chain management is the set of processes, technologies and decisions that coordinate the flow of products, information and resources from the supplier to the end customer. It covers areas such as purchasing, production, distribution and transport, and today it is increasingly supported by data and digitalisation.
It is aimed at managers, middle managers and professionals in logistics, purchasing, production, distribution and operations who want to understand how new technologies can improve supply chain management. It is also aimed at technical and managerial profiles involved in digitalisation or process improvement projects.
Logistics 4.0 is the evolution of the sector from the fourth industrial revolution, with smart technologies gaining prominence in supply chain management. The course works on IoT, control towers, digital twins, blockchain, Big Data, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, among others.
The course combines theory and practice through successful cases and applications and closes with a block of team simulation based on Serious Games and the Beer Distribution Game at MIT. Thus, participants experience first-hand how decisions in each area affect the whole.
It allows us to understand the evolution and challenges of the supply chain, identify which technologies provide traceability, better service levels and lower environmental impact, and improve coordination and decision-making between areas.
