PROGRAM FOR BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN BUSINESS, INNOVATION AND TECHNOLOGY

The curriculum of Euncet Business School's Business, Innovation and Technology degree consists of two essential blocks. The first, composed of a solid foundation of management fundamentals, is shared with other degrees. Here, students acquire crucial skills and competencies in business organizations: accounting, financial systems, strategic management, marketing, communication, sales, etc.

In addition, they explore emerging technologies that are transforming business management, with an emphasis on data intelligence, one of the most demanded disciplines by organizations today.

The second block focuses on business creation and manageent and includes three majors to be chosen by the student: Finance (60 ECTS), Entrepreneurship (60 ECTS) or Business Analytics (60 ECTS). This hybrid nature of management-innovation-technology stands out in the local market, providing a unique offer. In addition, it challenges the traditional idea that graduates have predetermined job opportunities, encouraging the creation of their own opportunities.

Study plan

Distribution of credits

The initial foundation block (semesters 1, 2 and 3), with 90 ECTS, is shared with the degree in Marketing, Innovation and Technology. This shared itinerary facilitates the completion of the double degree between the two variants: business and marketing.

In this initial block, students incorporate knowledge, skills and basic competencies for their professional development. As a differentiating element, this block is completed with courses focused on emerging technologies that impact and will impact the management of organizations, with special emphasis on data intelligence.

In this sense, the second block (semesters, 4, 5, 6 and 7), with 120 ECTS, focuses on three aspects:

  • The fundamentals of business creation and administration.
  • The mention chosen by the student.
  • Technology, which permeates and affects all aspects of business creation and administration.

These fundamentals place the student in everything related to the essential areas in business organizations: accounting, financial system, strategic management, marketing, communication, sales, etc.

At the same time, each student begins to take the courses of the chosen mention (it is mandatory to choose a mention):

  • Finance: it delves into all accounting and financial aspects of the company, as well as national and international markets, and the operating logic of financial products and systems. The impact of technology on financial management is present in all courses (tools, analysis methodologies, etc.), as well as subjects specifically addressing technological trends in finance, especially the implementation of artificial intelligence.
  • Entrepreneurship: the creation and deployment of a new company is a process that is accompanied by the incorporation of tools and methodologies of design, organization, daily management and reflection on the impact that the company will generate in society. It is an offer inspired by the best entrepreneurship university in the United States, Babson College, which for many years has consolidated this way of learning by creating a company. This confluence of management-technology-entrepreneurship brings together the main competencies of people who will have professional lives marked by change.
  • Business analytics: is aimed at those students who, without being engineers or programmers, have the hybrid skill to join data analysis teams to provide the strategic vision of the business and ask the right questions so that the data facilitates the decision-making process.

Semester 8, with 30 ECTS, is composed of the TFG and electives. This elective can be achieved through elective courses, mobility, external academic internships, courses or credits taken in other university studies or through other university activities.

The elective courses may be chosen from those corresponding to the two majors not chosen. This promotes professional networking and creates the possibility of establishing collaborative relationships between students to start business projects.
