University degrees practical information

In accordance with the provisions of the European Higher Education Area, universities must have an internal quality assurance system (SGIC/IQAS) which incorporates continuous improvement strategies to develop and monitor their actions, and to review and redefine them to ensure that the objectives associated with the teaching they provide are met.

Access Routes

  • Baccalaureate: From the baccalaureate + PAU or from COU + PAU to any study regardless of the modality / option of baccalaureate that has been completed. More information on the Universities Channel of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

  • Over 25 years old: Pass the university entrance exam for those over 25 years of age. Detailed information regarding the test for people over 25 years of age (registration, calendar, location where it was taken etc.)

  • Over 45 years old: Pass the university entrance exam for those over 45 years of age. Detailed information regarding the test for people over 45 years of age (registration, calendar, location where it was taken, etc.)

  • Higher Level Training Cycles (CFGS): From CFGS you can access any degree, although for admission to studies the admission grade (average grade of studies) or the admission grade weighted according to the linking of the subjects of the specific PAU test will be taken into account with the branch of knowledge of the degree to which you want to access.   • Over 45 years of age and accredit professional experience: Requirements to access the University by this route

    • Be 45 years old or older in the calendar year in which the academic year begins.

    • Do not possess any academic degree that enables access to the University through other access routes.

    • Accredit professional or work experience in relation to the university degree education to which you want to access.

  • University graduates: Students who have an official university degree or an equivalent degree and students who have an official university degree from a university graduate or university graduate program, technical architect degree, technical engineer degree, graduate degree, architect or engineer, corresponding to the previous university education system, or an equivalent degree, can have access to a degree through the university pre-registration process.   • Change of studies or centre (transfer of file) from official Spanish university studies: Students who want to change university and/or official Spanish university studies can apply directly for admission to a centre or studies without having to obtain a place through the pre-registration process if they meet the criteria specified below.

     

    Requirements to apply

    • Recognition of a minimum of 30 ECTS in the studies to which you want to access, corresponding to compulsory courses. In no case is the final degree project recognized
    • This is not affected by the regulations on ongoing studies, if these have been completed at the UPC.

     

    Who can request it?

    • Students who are studying for a degree and want to continue at another centre or university.
    • Students who are studying a degree and want to change to other degree studies within the same centre or in another centre or university.
    • Students who have studied study plans that have already expired without having finished them and want to access a degree study within the same centre, in another centre or in another university. Adaptations due to termination of the curriculum in the degree that replaces it are excluded.

     

    They cannot be admitted through this route

    • Students who are studying for a degree at the UPC who only have to pass the end-of-degree project in their studies of origin
    • Students from other universities or who have studied in accordance with previous university ordinances who, once the recognition has been carried out, the others who have to pass less than 60 ECTS of the studies they want to access. These restrictions do not apply to students who have completed a study plan at UPC that has already expired and have not completed it
    • Graduated students or those who are ready to obtain the degree. Students who want to simultaneously study or take an itinerary leading to a double degree.
  • Change of studies or centre from foreign university studies:
    • Students who have completed their university studies abroad can request recognition of the degree from the Ministry responsible for university studies, or they can request partial recognition directly from the University, but never simultaneously.
    • Students who do not obtain the recognition of any credit can access university studies through general pre-registration, after requesting the homologation of their degree to the Spanish baccalaureate degree and passing the entrance exams for foreigners.
    • Students who can validate a minimum of 30 ECTS (the previous evaluation of the validation study is done in the same centre) must apply for admission directly in the centre where they want to continue their studies. These students cannot pre-register. A minimum of 30 ECTS must be validated from the studies to which you want to access, which must correspond to compulsory courses. In no case is the final degree project validated.
    • Students who validate less than 30 ECTS must pre-register. They may only request to study at the centre that has validated them and for which they must present the certificate of the validation study issued by the centre.

  • Pre-registration period: from June 4 to June 28 (both included)
  • Publication 1st assignment: July 10th
  • Step "Final Assignment": From July 11 to 15 (both included)

Admission Process

The admission process for University Degrees is as follows:

*By making the €600 payment (to be deducted from the total registration fee, the Euncet Business School University don't guarantees a spot in the degree, pending completion of selectivity or other access requirements.

Register Before Enrolling

As soon as you receive a message from the UPC, you can start the process of activating your account at the UPC. The username and password that you obtain will allow you to validate your personal data and modify it, if necessary, and during your university life it will give you access to various UPC services.

You need to do this before coming to enrol. You will find a screen that will ask you for the DNI number or the email that you used for the pre-registration process (Accesnet).

 

Activate your account

 

  • Next, you will receive an email to obtain your user credentials and password.
  • Once this process has been completed, you will be able to access the eSecretary and the rest of the UPC teaching and service intranets.

Access E-Secretary

If you have already activated your account, you will now be able to access E-Secretary, which is the virtual platform with which you will access your file and all the academic procedures during your university life.

Access E-Secretaria

At E-Secretary you must:

  • Review and modify your personal data (if there is any data that you cannot modify, you can do so on the day of enrolment by bringing the necessary supporting documentation).
  • Modify, if necessary, the family address and the address you have during the academic year.
  • Authorize the use of your data (GDPR).
  • Authorize the direct debit of payments, if you opt for this method (SEPA order signed by the account holder).
  • Upload your photo to process your UPC card. The photo must be taken of your face and your eyes must be visible. The background must be white. The aspect ratio of the photo (width / length) must be 0.82 and the minimum dimensions will be 180 pixels wide x 220 pixels long. Minimum resolution must be 100 dpi. The file format must be JPG, GIF or PNG.

Once you have reviewed the information in E-Secretary, remember that you have not yet completed the REGISTRATION, which you must do in person at the centre, once you have read the rest of the steps.

What should you know before enrolling?

If you do not enrol within the assigned period, you lose your spot:

  • If you do not enrol in the periods established in the pre-registration calendar, you lose the assigned spot.
  • When you are assigned a spot you leave another person out. If you do not enrol, this spot is reassigned to the person on the waiting list.

Registration is the contract between you and Euncet. Once registered, you have to make payment:

  • As a student you exercise your right to enrol voluntarily and responsibly. The registration application necessarily implies the payment of the fees set for the provision of academic services and you are required to pay them.
  • The fact of not paying the registration does not imply that it is cancelled, but surcharges will be applied for payments made outside the established term.
  • This contract requires Euncet to provide you with the planned services and you to pay for them, follow them and respect the regulations as a Euncet student.

Enrolment is in-person for new access students:

  • The enrolment of new access students to the Euncet is done in person.

Documentation required for enrolment:

  • If you have Spanish nationality, you must present your original DNI.
  • If you are a foreigner, you must present your original passport or identity document and a photocopy and your NIE if you have one.
  • All these documents must be valid at the time of registration.

Necessary documentation according to the access route:

  • Students who have taken university entrance exams: It is not necessary to carry any documents.
  • Students from educational systems of European Union member states and other nations that have signed international agreements on a reciprocal basis: Credential issued by the UNED.
  • University degree or arrangement prior to the EHEA: It is not necessary to carry any documents.
  • Title of CFGS, FP2 and assimilated: It is not necessary to carry any documents.
  • PAU, CFGS, FP2 or assimilated who have ever started university studies: Transfer of file or, where appropriate, simultaneity of studies.
  • Access for people over 25/40/45 years old: It is not necessary to carry any documentation.

Modality of dedication to the studies and credits in which you need to enrol:

  • You can choose, at the beginning of the studies and without the need for additional justification, the modality of committing to full-time or part-time studies. The most common is full time.
  • Students who study full-time and enrol for the first time in the first year of undergraduate studies, must enrol for 60 credits.
  • The student who studies part-time must not enrol for the full course, but for a maximum of 36 credits per academic year (18 credits per semester).

Information on the modification of the bma and mdc study plan

As of the academic year 2021-2022 , the degree's study plan in BMA and the degree in MDC is modified. The modified plan differs from the current plan in two ways:

  1. The denomination of some courses has changed.
  2. The English II course becomes optional and is replaced as compulsory by the new Data Visualization course.

The transition to the modified study plan will be different for new access students than it is for current students:

  • New access students: they will enrol in courses from the modified plan
  • Current students: they will enrol in courses from the unmodified study plan. At the end of the 2021-2022 academic year (July 2022), the academic record will be transferred to the modified plan of all students who are not in a position to obtain the degree.

Instructions for registration:

  • Students with approved English II who do not finish the degree during the 2021-2022 academic year: having passed English II, it will automatically become an elective passed when the plan is changed. The Data Visualization course is planned to be taken from the 2022-2023 academic year. Enrolment in this course will not entail any additional cost.
  • Students with approved English II who finish the degree during the 2021-2022 academic year: this will not have an effect, since the student will graduate under the current plan.
  • Students with English II not approved or not enrolled: It will not be necessary to enrol in the English II course, students will be able to enrol directly in the new Data Visualization course.

Allocation criteria for spots

For the allocation of spots to applicants, the following criteria will be applied in order of priority:

  • Average from academic record.
  • Official accreditation of the B2 level of the teaching language of the destination university or, alternatively, the final grade from English course of the ADE or MCD study plan
  • Ultimately, the student's degree of motivation can be assessed through a personal interview.

Curricular internships Degree in Business Administration and Degree in Marketing

Academic activities integrated into the Study Plan with assessment and final mark.

They are within the optional itinerary. This entails:

  • Enrolment required
  • An academic tutor and a company tutor are assigned.
  • These internships will be reflected in the European Diploma Supplement.

Indispensable requirement to have passed 120 credits of the Degree.

You can enrol:

  • 6 elective credits equivalent to 180 hours of internships (150 hours of stay in the company)
  • 12 elective credits equivalent to 360 hours of internships (300 hours of stay in the company)
  • 18 elective credits equivalent to 540 hours of internships (450 hours of stay in the company)

Important: The student may only terminate the agreement for reasons of force majeure, duly justified.

Aspects to take into account to enrol in curricular internship credits:

  • The internships will not be registered until the student has signed an educational cooperation agreement with the company hosting the internship. Once the agreement has been signed and delivered to Euncet. An enrolment modification will be made including these credits, which will entail payment like any other credit.
  • In no case Euncet has the obligation to guarantee spots for students who have requested curricular internships. In the event that a student does not have an assigned spot, it will be his or her responsibility to find a spot to obtain the optional credits with an internship at a collaborating entity.
  • Once the internship period has begun, extracurricular internships cannot be recognized as curricular internships. The student will have to make the decision at the time of requesting the internship.

Curricular internships Degree in CTEF

The internships for the degree in CTEF are compulsory and you can only enrol 12 credits, equivalent to 360 hours of internships (300 hours of stay in the company).

  • The internships will not be registered until the student has signed an educational cooperation agreement with the company hosting the internship. University Degrees Extracurricular Internships

Academic activities that are not part of the Study Plan or the academic record.

  • They can be done by undergraduate students.
  • They do not enrol, they only sign the educational cooperation agreement for extracurricular internships and the training project.
  • These internships will be reflected in the European Diploma Supplement.
  • Euncet may establish limitations, or even deny the option of carrying out extracurricular external internships, based on student performance.

Internship Offer

Internships can be carried out during the first and/or second semester, in the morning or afternoon shift.

The student can obtain a spot in two ways:

  • On your own in a collaborating entity that is interested in hosting you as an intern
  • Selected by a collaborating entity through an offer to which they registered through the Euncet job exchange.

Basic rules

  • It is mandatory to ATTEND ALL INTERVIEWS to which you are summoned, and to be PUNCTUAL.
  • Once an internship offer has been accepted and you have committed to a company, YOU MAY NOT QUIT.. If for any reason you must leave the internship, you must speak with Marta Roma (Head of Student and Alumni Services). If you do not do this, you will no longer be able to choose an offer from the Job Exchange. Any agreement with a company must be based on a search on your own.
  • The candidate can accept or reject an offer to which he or she is admitted based on his or her interests. However, EUNCET cannot ensure internships tailored to the personal interests of each student. Therefore, you must be responsible for the decisions you make.
  • EUNCET does not admit serious misconduct in the behaviour of students who do internships at a company. If this occurs, students will lose the right to carry out internships in the future.

The Professional Guidance Plan aims to provide personalised attention in professional guidance and job search processes for professional recruitment of its graduates.

Members of the Professional Career Guidance Service are responsible for developing the Professional Guidance Plan. They define the professional profile of each student who is completing or has completed the degree, and guide them in the professional options that best suit their profile while advising them on preparing for a job search.

In both cases, we will respond as soon as possible, within a maximum period of 1 business day from the time of your suggestion, complaint or appreciation.

To be awarded a bachelor's degree, it is necessary to obtain 240 European credits (four academic years), including the Final Bachelor’s Thesis.

In order to apply for admission, you must meet the requirements that you will find on our website, in the section Access and Admission (for master's and bachelor's degrees).

No. However, candidates are advised to have a sufficient level of Spanish, spoken and written, before accessing the studies, to be able to understand the course contents and to be able to carry out the necessary assignments and exams, given that the classes are taught mainly in that language. Catalan can also help you. 

Students in possession of a vocational training or a degree qualification recognized in Spain can access official university studies. They can also take, if they wish, the University Admission Test (PAU) for foreigners at UNED ASSIS.

Yes, you must select your studies according to your order of preference, with a maximum of 8 different options. Therefore, the order of preference that you indicate is the one that will be taken into account in the assignment process. In the event that all the places chosen are full when it is your turn to be assigned, the Pre-registration Office of the Generalitat de Catalunya will contact you to inform you of the studies with available places and ask you to make a new selection accordingly.

The Euncet Business School admissions officer will draw up a provisional studies selection list based on the students' preferences. In the event that none of places indicated as preferences in the application is assigned, students will be contacted to find an alternative. Please remember that this whole process is subject to the final allocation of university places by the Pre-registration Office of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

Once you are enrolled, we will give you access to several platforms, including the Virtual Campus, where each professor publishes grades and academic information related to the courses. 

Yes, you can, but you must bear in mind the following:

  • Applicants with qualifications related to the area of knowledge of the degree they wish to study will have preference.
     
  • First year students, and prior to the evaluation and review,  will be advised to attend one or more seminars prior to the start of classes, which may be of: Physics, Mathematics and/or Principles of Economics and Finance. 
     
  • Applicants with some specific vocational training qualifications may validate some of the degree courses, prior accreditation. The list of related validations is described below: 

 

 

  • Applicants with similar university studies, either completed or partly taken , may request a validation assessment of previous studies, by presenting all the corresponding documentation for review and approval by the Validation Commission, which will issue the relevant validation report.

The order of preference of the degrees indicated in your application will be binding for enrolment purposes and cannot be modified once the application period is over.

If you are a new student at Euncet, we will inform you of the date and time to enrol. All other students should pay attention to the enrolment deadlines published on our website, in the box corresponding to Enrolment (for bachelor's and master's degrees).

Not necessarily, it will depend on the type of dedication you choose. If you choose to enrol as a full-time student , the first time you enrol, you will have to enrol for the 60 credits of the first year. On the other hand, if you choose to enrol as a part-time student, the first time you enrol, you must enrol for a maximum of 36 credits.

On the right-hand side of the page of each degree, you will find the standard fees, which vary depending on the modality chosen.

The Career Service provides personalised attention in professional orientation, promotes the individual talent of students and Alumni for their placement into the labour market and offers direct contact with local companies. Euncet Business School bachelor's and master's degree students can do an external internship in a company, as long as they meet the minimum requirements detailed in the External Internships section of each degree programme.
The Career Service offers personalised attention to go through this process, as well as support with all the management of the traineeship agreement. 

The Euncet Business School Placement Service is a platform exclusively for the Euncet community, where companies in the surrounding area publish both job and internship offers which our students and Alumni can apply for. 

The first step is to get to Terrassa by public transport and then take the Euncet Business School free private bus that picks up students at each of the train stations, as well as other points in the city.
